Laws of Life
Celebrating Character, Service, and the Impact of Rotary

As we kick off the new school year, we invite you to join us for the annual Teacher & Rotarian Workshop Luncheon on Friday, August 22, at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta. This special event honors the educators who lead the Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest in their schools and offers an opportunity for Rotarians to connect more deeply with this powerful character education program. All schools and Rotary clubs registered for the 2025-26 contest receive two free tickets.

Whether you're a returning partner or new to the contest, this event is your opportunity to:

  •  Hear from inspiring state-winning student writers
  • Learn from experienced teachers how the contest continues to align with Georgia ELA Standards
  • Connect with educators, Rotary sponsors, and contest leaders
  • Receive school and student tools, and continuing education credits (teachers)

We are proud to share a compelling reflection, The Ethos of the Georgia Laws of Life Essay Contest Program: The Profile of Winners, from former board member and long-time Rotarian Dr. Anu Narula, who beautifully captures the spirit and impact of the contest on students and communities across Georgia.

Reserve your luncheon tickets today at www.georgialawsoflife.org/events. Virtual option available.

We encourage all Rotary clubs to engage in this life-changing program by sponsoring the contest at a local high school or inviting a club presentation.
