Celebrating All Your Good Work

DG Steve Ivory had a great time at his official visit with the Rotary Club of Senoia, with a pizza social and service project to pack out cans of peaches and spaghetti sauce at Midwest Food Bank Georgia! Club members were joined by students from East Coweta High School!

July is wrapping up and I have visited many clubs already. My club visits have all been fun and inspiring so far and have included officer and president installations, service projects, board meetings and club meetings. I truly look forward to seeing you all soon and seeing the impact your clubs are having in the community.

We are awaiting funds from The Rotary Foundation to distribute for your community grant projects this year and are excited to launch a competitive grant program that can provide up to $35,000 in additional grants for local projects (up to $7,000 for any one project) - with grant applications due by September 1.

Special thanks to Chris Brand, our disaster relief chair, for heading to Texas recently to help the communities devastated by the floods. He and his team provided much needed medical equipment to folks in need.

I hope that many of you will attend our Membership Summit on August 16, and that you will join us next spring at Lake Lanier for our District Conference. Our dates are April 16-19, 2026, and you can find more information on the District website.

Thanks for all you are doing; continue to Unite for Good.
